Nothing is accidental, Is Sydney the new black?

When something like an accident occurs, you go over what you could have done differently. You wonder if there is some strange force out there. No one expects to be hit by a drunk driver at 6.40am on a monday morning. A defining moment, after you injuries heal, your left wondering why. Your left with the pain and recovery, What I find so strange is that a guy, drunk and obviously defying the law can be so smug, My drunk said to me, "I am not to blame for your issues" One's mind boggles at the arrogance and obvious delusion that he can actually think like that. I personally did nothing wrong, was in my lane, minding my own business when he t boned the side of my car from the rear. I want to thank all my friends that cared for me, Lynne, Philip, Rodney and Michelle, without you I would have been alone, I would not have had the courage to get back behind the wheel, Take a break in America , and spend alot more time doing what I do best, painting. It also gave me the courage to get out of Melbourne and move to Sydney. "I love it, although not new to me, Sydney was a second home as a child, I love Bronte beach, I would walk the Bondi to Bronte walk to get my strength back. I love how people talk to each other and are helpful, the fashion and the street vibes. I love the art scene here, vibrant and dynamic, wandering the galleries of the Surrey Hills area. Brett Whitely studio and the other well known dealers. I am totally inspired. Time heals all wounds, and time allows us to redescover who we really are. I reflect on time and hope all the drunk drivers of the world think twice. pain is something we can live without. Disaster should be natural not man made. Live and let live as we see fit, a simple request but one that does nothing to replace so many lives wrecked and destroyed by a drunk. law enforcement should be tougher on offenders.... period.

Women, talents and creativity

I see alot of girls, mothers, young and old, testing creativity. Some are stunted by confidence, health issues, the past, abuse and fear while others flourish, I would like to encourage all women no matter what your situation to find your mojo!. You may have a signature dish, a gift for handcraft, art, music, writing, fashion, well you know, we do things well! When in doubt , at times of stress unemployment or loss, look within, look how you can help yourself and try it.

Try to find that spark or an idea to move forward, Not only good therapy but a way to resolve and heal your life, Open your possabilities and dreams up to a new cycle in your life. Do not accept negative comments, Do not give in to pressures, keep going, keep trying, keep creating and be your own best friend and surround yourself with motivated posative people.

I hope anyone or if only one person that reads this affirmation, embrace it and move forward. Economic hard times are also a brilliant motivator. Desperation usually means doing something stupid, do something smart! and find your niche. Go for it! Don't look back.......x Nicci ................Comments welcome!
