Hi all,
Extraordinary moments in time, equals how I and (most of us) perceive this era and its consequences, while we sit here playing on borrowed energy from the planet, the stresses and strains on mother nature are, obvious! yes I can hear the volcano's groan over my "mothers finest" cd..... ignored? we can't change anything?? Carbon neutral? naaaaa .."cant be bothered or cant afford change" carbon tax is just tax, sure, it might slow some down but to me it smacks of, lets pay to screw things up more!.
Real change comes from technologies developed by bio/green industry and movements, yes yes, that's right , the one that most laughed at 20 plus years ago, 2 words........WIND.........POWER. ....."I love the sound of a turbine in the morning!" and if a tsunami hits us, no problem, no fallout, umm let me see, always wind?? hmm equalls always energy........I really could go on forever! but I have some painting to complete.....))
Lobby anyone and everyone you can to switch ASAP, pull the plug on fossil fuels, walk more, use natuaral alternatives for common household purposes, educate children, support developing countries to adopt carbon neutral, lead the way, in any small way you can.....make exsisting cities self sustaining, it can be done.. love the planet, care for the planet before it really kicks our xxx and we are gone, that is reality, no more people equals no more children to delight us art to stimulate and sooth our souls, music, for generations to develop and expand on. No more nothing.............................NOW! go turn a light off your not using
Thankyou global community

Australia is "Going Under"
The events of the past week, have left all Australians traumatized. My heart goes out to all the elderly, animals and families that have lost loved ones, NOW imagine over 1 million square miles (approx the size of Germany and Italy combined) UNDERWATER. and its still raining!!!.
Dear old Brisvegas as we love to call our 3rd largest city Brisbane, has over 50 suburbs affected as well as the CBD. The toll in crops, livestock and homes is just incredible in terms of destruction. Not to mention (which I note, no one has) the indigenous communities of north Queensland, still wander as they have for thousands of years, and no one mentions them???....I guess those lives lost will remain a mystery.
"I cant imagine " can you?
If your religous say a prayer for those in trouble up there, if your not, send thoughts to the communites in too many towns to mention and the hero's out there risking their own lives to get supplies and assistance to people that are cut off, some have been for up to a week and will be for some time to come , my freind Marlyn recounts how her community is stranded, and one couple that did run a catering company had a large stock of food are putting on a dinner this friday for the town to try to lift spirits, this, is what us Aussies are all about. let us all hope this passes quickly.
Queensland is the most naturally beautiful tropical oasis, so many delights and treasures. Time to look after this planet, like, we are not being warned!!!! ..............................plan globally a future for all.
Peace and love, Nicci
